Usually Timber Warriors receives payment directly from the carrier, but in some instances the carrier may forward our payment for emergency services to you by mistake. In this event, we will contact you and explain what happened, what your balance is and how to submit payment. In addition, we can provide contact information for your adjuster who can confirm their payments and the balance for services rendered.
Claim related questions are better answered by your adjuster, but our office staff is available if you have questions about our service or the tree specifically.
If Timber Warriors is assigned by your carrier, it is not necessary to get multiple bids for tree removal. We are pre-vetted by your carrier and have their clearance to perform the work and then invoice them after completion.
Who We Are
Timber Warriors works with insurance companies like yours to handle claims related to tree and roof damage. We operate across the USA, using certified arborists who have been carefully vetted by your insurance carrier.
Your insurance adjuster contacts us directly when you have a covered damage event. We then handle everything necessary to get the tree off your house or other structures and cover it with tarp, if needed, to prevent further damage.
How the Process Works
If you have been contacted by Timber Warriors or your adjuster has informed you that Timber Warriors has been hired to complete emergency services for your claim, here’s what you can expect from us during the claims process.
We will call identifying ourselves as vendors for your insurance company and confirm that you would like to use our service. We will ask for a basic description of the tree and nature of the damage, along with photos if possible, so we may provide the crew best suited to stop further loss.
An electronic authorization to complete the work will be sent to you via email or fax to sign and return before the work begins. If you are without phone or internet access, we can request your adjuster to authorize on your behalf.
Our crew will arrive onsite to take additional photos and determine if any additional crew or equipment are needed. If more tools are needed or if there are any coverage questions for the adjuster, the crew may leave until we have what we need to continue.
All tree debris is removed from the covered structure to allow for inspections and repair. Your policy might only cover a portion of the downed trees and debris in your yard. We work closely with your carrier to ensure you aren’t unwittingly stuck with a bill for work we complete outside what your policy covers. Debris will be removed according to the cap on your policy. If you wish for our crew to leave any burnable wood, we can do that.
Once the job is complete, our office staff will request another electronic form be signed and returned rating your satisfaction with our services. We appreciate your feedback and if the survey doesn’t meet an acceptable threshold, we will contact you to inquire how we could better serve our insureds.
